The actress celebrated her 44th birthday by posting a selfie without any makeup and a sincere statement that came from the bottom of her heart.
Hewitt spoke candidly about both her blessings and the challenges she occasionally confronts as she ages.
The 4 a.m. wake-up call for the Ghost Whisperer star resulted in her posting an all-natural selfie with beautiful skin.
She sent a statement with the photo in which she described how she “felt sincerely grateful, blessed, and happy,” but also how she “occasionally felt nervous” about becoming older.
In addition, the actress took care to thank her late mother Patricia for giving her life, stating, “Thank you mum.”
I really miss you.
The mother of three continued by adding, “To the most handsome and fantastic man,” before gushing about her “incredible babies” and husband.
Atticus, her 7-year-old son, “woke up much too early,” the delighted mother continued, “to sing me “Happy Birthday,” which made my heart melt.”
She wished her 1.3 Instagram followers a “nice day” as she wrapped up her touching message.
Hewitt has already discussed the subject of aging.
She shared another uncensored, no-makeup selfie from last year in which she spoke about aging in the spotlight.
She accompanied the image with an open statement that said, “Aging is odd.”
She continued by thanking her followers, saying, “Growing up with you guys over 33 years has been great.”
The actress also acknowledged that she applies filters to some of her images for social media.
She said, “They are so much fun, but they can also be incredibly difficult because you can forget to feel good about your true face.
Hewitt went on to say, in reference to the application of filters, “Maybe I just need to be better at the balance.”
And earlier, Hewitt had made the decision to temporarily stop publishing anything on her social media accounts.
The loving mother said she intended to put more of an emphasis on “workouts, breathing, manifesting, and time with my kids and spouse.”
She added that she sometimes felt awful because she felt like she “wasn’t enough” or wasn’t “doing enough” because of social media.
